Perancangan Pusat Komunitas Sepeda Di Pekanbaru Dengan Penerapan Arsitektur High Tech

ABSTRACT
Cycling is a very popular physical activity and has many health benefits. In
Pekanbaru, there are approximately 30 bicycle communities (ISSI Pekanbaru). The
bicycle community in Pekanbaru usually holds various activities such as group
cycling, competition events, and social activities. There are not enough cyclist
activities that require a special area for training and competitions in Pekanbaru, so a
place is needed that can accommodate the activities of cyclists. The need for training
arenas, gatherings and competition events is the impetus for the need for a bicycle
community center in Pekanbaru. Bicycle Community Center which has a role in
improving achievement and as an effort to advance the younger generation. The
Bicycle Community Center applies innovative technology to continue to develop. This
implementation is in line with the city of Pekanbaru which has designated "Pekanbaru
Smart City Madani". The design aims to support cyclists' activities by adopting
technology and improving people's quality of life. The Simulation Method is used in
designing the Bicycle Community Center, using architectural software to obtain the
data needed in the design. Designing a Bicycle Community Center with the application
of technological architecture has the potential to not only provide facilities that
support the development of the younger generation, but also serve as an innovative
building model in overcoming environmental challenges. Through this design, it is
hoped that the Bicycle Community Center can become a locomotive for change in
efforts to develop technology and create a better future in Pekanbaru City.
