The era of revolution demands that educators must have skills with various technologies that should be applied in learning. Teachers are expected to be able to use technology as a learning medium, so that learning is fun and effective. The learning process is fun and interesting, it is hoped that teachers can create positive learning conditions for students. The use of technology in education, such as the development of interactive learning media assisted by website, can be an effective solution. Interactive learning media can make the learning process more interesting and enjoyable, thereby increasing interest in learning and can improve students' critical thinking towards solving a problem in the learning media.
Teaching materials with the assistance of website produced by researchers makes it easier for teachers to deliver learning and makes it easier for students to solve case questions by involving critical thinking skills. Website-assisted learning for virus material at the high school level has not been widely found. Therefore, teaching materials with the assistance of website can actively bring students to improve their interest in learning and critical thinking skills biology better.
In this study, the development of the teaching materials using Research & Development through the ADDIE approach at SMAN 2 Pangkalan in class X, the validation stage involved 4 validators. The assessment of feasibility by experts used a validation sheet. The assessment of the practicality of teaching materials used questionnaire responses, namely the responses of students and biology subject teachers. Data analysis used descriptive analysis assisted by Microsoft Office Excel 2013. Assessment of student learning outcomes used questions before and after treatment while assessment of learning interest used a questionnaire. Data analysis used the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software.
The results of the study obtained are as follows: (1) the validation value of material and education experts on the Development of Teaching Materials for Virus Materials and Their Roles with the Assistance of Website to Increase Learning Interest and Critical Thinking of High School Students is classified as very valid based on experts with an average of (3.71), (2) the results of the practicality test from teachers showed that the teaching materials was very practical with an average teacher value of 86.02%. (3) The results of the one tu one test showed very good results with an average value of 91.00%, and the results of the small group test with an average of 90.00% with a very practical category. (4) Assessment of learning interest in the posttest of the control and experimental classes, the average value of the control class after treatment was 69.25 with a low category, while in the experimental class it was 85.10 with a high category. (5) Assessment of critical thinking of students was carried out through pretest (before the experiment) and posttest (after the experiment)

assessments showing that there was an increase in pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class. The average pretest score was 58.40 with a less than ideal criterion, while the average posttest score was 85.65 with a very good criterion.
The conclusion of this study is that the development of Teaching Materials with the assitance of Website on the Material of Viruses and Their Roles as teaching materials is very valid and the use of the developed teaching materials has an effect on increasing learning interest and critical thinking of high school students.
