Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Terintegrasi Etnokimia Melayu Riau Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Kimia Dan Keterampilan Kesadaran Budaya Peserta Didik Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga
This research aims to produce interactive learning media integrated with Riau Malay ethnochemistry on buffer solution material to improve students' chemical literacy skills and cultural awareness. This is based on the results of the assessment of students' literacy skills in Indonesia which are classified as low based on PISA results. Students' literacy skills and cultural awareness need to be improved because both are important foundations for facing global challenges. Literacy helps students understand, analyze, and use information critically, while cultural awareness forms a tolerant attitude, appreciates differences, and strengthens national identity in the midst of diversity. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used interviews, validation sheets, teacher and learner assessment sheets, chemical literacy test questions and cultural awareness questionnaires. Validation was carried out by 6 lecturers, consisting of 3 material experts and 3 media experts. The one-on-one test involved 3 students with high, medium and low abilities. User assessment involved 3 chemistry teachers and 30 students from SMAN 2 Pangkalan Kerinci, SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, and SMA Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. The research design in the field trial was pre-experiment posttest only control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 2 sample groups, namely the experimental group and the control group.
The results showed that the media that had been developed were very valid so they were suitable for use in learning with an average percentage of 94.36% material experts and 98.48% media experts. The one-on-one test was conducted to identify deficiencies in the learning media through students' comments and suggestions. Assessment by users, namely by teachers and students, got a percentage of 93.67% and 90.14% with very good criteria. In the field trial, chemical literacy posttest data and cultural awareness pretest-posttest were obtained.
The independent sample t-test test on chemical literacy data obtained a significance value of 0,000 (sig
