Domestic violence (KDRT) does not only affect women, but can also be experienced by men. However, cases often go unreported due to social stigma and gender bias. This study aims to describe the profile of cases of physical domestic violence in men examined at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru in 2020–2024. The study used a retrospective descriptive design with secondary data from Visum et Repertum (VeR) and medical records. The sample was taken by total sampling of all victims who met the inclusion criteria. Analysis was carried out univariately and the results are presented in tables and diagrams. Of the 1,001 cases of domestic violence examined, 84 cases (8.4%) were found with male victims. The most cases occurred in 2023, 34 cases (40.5%). Most victims were aged 19–59 years (58.3%) with the dominant occupation being self-employed (32.1%). Most perpetrators came from the nuclear family, 71 cases (84.5%). The most common type of violence was blunt force 76 cases (90.5%), with the most common injuries being bruises 60 cases (71.4%) and abrasions 55 cases (65.5%). The most common degree of injury was minor 63 people (75%), and the most common location of injury was the head 51 cases (60.7%). Physical violence against men is a real phenomenon that requires serious attention. Increased awareness among the public and health workers is needed to provide treatment without gender bias.
