Early marriage in Bagan Java Village, there are many teenagers who marry at a relatively young age. Early marriage also often involves limited understanding, emotional maturity , and physical and mental readiness. This study aims to determine the factors underlying early marriage and to determine the positive and negative impacts of early marriage in Bagan Java Village. This study uses a qualitative analysis approach with Max Weber’s social action theory approach. The research informant subjects consisted of nine poeple selected using purposive sampling. Primary and secondary data collection was carried out through observation tecniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The relust of this study indicate that children who marry early in Bagan Java Village are due to factors that make the subjek have to marry early.namely 1. Intrumental rational action factors where there are because to stabilize the economy and avoid envitronmental influences, there are also because 2. Value rational factors namely building a family from an early age and limited education. 3. Traditional actions namely because of family traditions and to avoid bad luck, and the last factor is 4. Affective actions based on love and seeking happiness. There are positive impacts, namely fulfilling family functions, where they carry out socialization, cooperate in economic stability, emotional care, and maintain reproductio. Negative impacts include limitations in work and excessive responsibility.
