This final project discusses the development of the Opposite Erdos-Mordell Ine- quality in Convex Quadrilaterals. The Opposite Erdos–Mordell Inequality is an extension of the classical Erdos–Mordell Inequality, which is originally formu- lated for triangles and later generalized to convex quadrilaterals. While the standard Erdos–Mordell Inequality compares the perpendicular distances from an interior point to the sides of the quadrilateral with the distances from that point to its vertices, the Opposite Erdos–Mordell Inequality involves a compa- rison of distances using lines opposite to the perpendiculars, also relative to the lines connecting the interior point to the vertices. In the proof, supporting lemmas and the concept of triangle similarity are used to establish the requi- red distance comparisons for the Opposite Erdos–Mordell Inequality in convex quadrilaterals.
