Perancangan Resort Hotel Kawasan Wisata Stanum Kabupaten Kampar Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Biophilic

ABSTRACT
Kampar Regency in Riau Province is one of the regions with great natural tourism
potential, especially in the Stanum Tourism Area. This area offers natural beauty
in the form of green hills, cool air, and lush vegetation, which are an attraction for
tourists. However, despite this area's significant potential, available
accommodation facilities are still very limited and inadequate to meet the growing
needs of tourists. Therefore, the design of a Resort Hotel in the Stanum Tourism
Area is very important to support the growth of tourism in this area. The Resort
Hotel will adopt the Biophilic Architecture approach, a design approach that aims
to enhance human connection with nature. The design process for this Resort Hotel
will use the Qualitative Research method, through direct observation of the site
including analysis of physical conditions, visual potential, accessibility, and the
presence of natural elements in the Stanum Tourism Area. The basic concept of this
Resort Hotel is "Connection With Nature", this concept is based on the
understanding that humans have an innate need to always be connected to their
natural environment. The results of this Resort Hotel design are expected to provide
accommodation solutions that are relevant, energy efficient, and support
environmental conservation.
