Gambaran Klinis Dan Keberhasilan Terapi Pada Pasien Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2022-2024
Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) is an autoimmune disease characterized by persistent thrombocytopenia resulting from platelet destruction and impaired thrombopoiesis. The aim of this study was to determine the clinical profile and treatment outcomes of ITP patients at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital from 2022 to 2024. This study employed a cross-sectional descriptive design using a simple random sampling method involving 90 ITP patients. The research data were secondary data obtained from medical records, collected cross-sectionally from all ITP patients. The results of this study showed that among 90 patients, the disease was predominantly found in females, accounting for 53 patients (58.9%), with the most affected age group being 35–54 years (20.9%). The most common chief complaint was mucosal bleeding, particularly gum bleeding, reported in 20 patients (22%). Regarding treatment response, 50 patients (54.9%) achieved remission with the administered therapy. The most frequently used treatment was first-line therapy with corticosteroids, given to 55 patients (60.4%).
