Domestic Violence (KDRT) remains a serious health and legal problem, the impact of which can lead to death. In this situation, forensic examination plays a crucial role in law enforcement. This study aims to describe the characteristics of forensic autopsy cases of domestic violence victims examined in the working area of the Riau Regional Police Medical and Health Division for the 2020-2024 period. This study used a retrospective method with a total sampling technique for all Visum et Repertum deaths due to domestic violence that underwent forensic autopsy. The results of the study are presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results show that the majority of victims were women (75%) and were in the productive age group of 25-44 years (45%). The most common type of injury found was bruising (80%), with the dominant location being the head (90%). Blunt force was the most common mechanism of injury (65%), while physical violence was the most common form of violence (90%). The most common cause of death was blunt trauma (55%). Husbands were recorded as the most frequent perpetrators (50%). The most requests for autopsies came from the Pekanbaru and Kampar regions (35%). These findings confirm that women of productive age are the most vulnerable group, with blunt trauma to the head being the main cause of death in cases of domestic violence.
