Profil Tindakan Operatif Dan Status Rekurensi Pada Pasien Endometriosis Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2022-2025
Endometriosis is a chronic condition affecting the quality of life of women of reproductive age, often requiring surgical intervention. This study aimed to determine the profile of operative management and recurrence status in endometriosis patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital utilizing a quantitative descriptive method based on medical record data. Results indicate that the majority of patients were nulliparous (64,10%) with the main symptom being dysmenorrhea (70,94%), and most cases (91,46%) were classified as Advanced Stage (III and IV). The operative approach was predominantly Laparotomy (56.41%), while Conservative techniques were more frequently chosen (61,54%), including Cystectomy and Adhesiolysis (45 cases). The overall recurrence rate was 34,19% (40 cases). Conclusion: The majority of cases were advanced stage managed conservatively, which implies a high risk of recurrence within 1–3 years post-surgery. Effective postoperative management with Adjuvant Hormonal Suppression Therapy (AHST) is highly necessary.
