ABSTRACT
The fire that broke out at Selodang Kelapa Market in Tembilahan City resulted in the loss of income for mid-sized vendors. Some were forced to move to temporary shelters (TPS) to continue selling, while others set up stalls in parking lots and alleys around the market. Furthermore, the accumulation of garbage around the market area further exacerbated the situation, disrupting the comfort of vendors and visitors. To address this issue, a redesign of Selodang Kelapa Market using a Waterfront Architecture approach is needed to support the economic sustainability of Tembilahan City. This approach utilizes the concept of waterfront redevelopment to revitalize the waterfront and improve existing facilities, enabling the area to function more optimally and provide comfort to the community.
