The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students who used the Articulate Storyline 3 learning media and students who did not use the Articulate Storyline 3 learning media in seventh grade students of SMP N 8 Pekanbaru. The research method used was an experiment with a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test research type with a non-equivalent control-group design. The results of this study showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class. Based on statistical analysis, the experimental class obtained an average N-Gain score of 64.76, interpreting the effectiveness category of the experimental class's N-Gain as quite effective, and the control class's N-Gain score of 48.13, interpreting the effectiveness category of the control class's N-Gain as less effective. Based on the results of the N-Gain test, it can be concluded that learning procedural texts using the Articulate Storyline 3 learning media is effective.
