The difficulty of students understanding concepts in learning chemistry makes students' understanding of concepts low. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' understanding of the concept of buffer solution by applying the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model. The research method used was experimental research with a randomized controlled pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students in grade XI MIPA in the 2024/2025 school year. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely students of class XI MIPA 1 (experimental class) and students of class XI MIPA 2 (control class). The data collection method used a student concept understanding test. The data obtained were then analyzed using hypothesis testing (t-test), while analyzing the improvement of students' concept understanding using the N-gain score test. The results of data analysis show that the tcount value of 2.07 is greater than the ttable value of 1.67 with the category of increasing students' concept understanding of 0.74 in the high category. So it can be concluded that the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model can improve students' concept understanding in buffer solution material.
