This study aims to produce a problem-based learning teaching module on
the topic of linear functions to facilitate the mathematical problem-solving abilities
of grade VIII phase D students. This study uses a 4-D development approach. This
development research consists of four stages: 1) define; 2) design; 3) develop; and
4) disseminate. This development research produced a problem-based learning
module on the topic of linear functions to facilitate mathematical problem-solving
skills in grade VIII phase D, meeting valid and practical criteria. Product
validation was conducted with three expert validations, with an average score of
3.43 and a percentage of 85.50%, representing a very valid criterion. The
practicality of the module was determined from a questionnaire completed by
students, with an average score of 3.59 and a percentage of 89.75%, representing
a very practical criterion. Therefore, the developed module meets the valid and
practical requirements for facilitating students' mathematical problem-solving
skills.
