Pemberian Biochar Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk Npkmg Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Pada Stadia Pre Nursery
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the interaction of rice husk biochar and
NPKMg fertilizer, and to obtain the best dose for the growth of oil palm seedlings
(Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) at the pre nursery stage on top soil media. This research
was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting
of two factors. The first factor of rice husk biochar consists of three levels: B1: 0 g,
B2: 75 g, B3: 150 g/polybag, the second factor of NPKMg fertilizer consists of
three levels: N1: 0 g, N2: 1,25, g N3: 2,5 g/polybag. The parameters observed were
plant height growth, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, photosynthesis rate
measurement, chlorophyll amount, root volume, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight
of shoots and root crown ratio. Data were analyzed statistically using analysis of
variance and the results of significant effects were followed by a 5% BNJ test. The
application of rice husk biochar with NPKMg fertilizer affected plant height,
photosynthesis rate, and chlorophyll content. The best treatment interaction for
enhancing oil palm seedling growth was the application of 75 g of rice husk biochar
and 2.50 g of NPKMg fertilizer g/polybag.
