Serapan Hara N, P, K, Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Medium Podsolik Dengan Pemberian Pupuk Organik Teknologi Nano
ABSTRACT
Upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a staple food crop that produces rice, which serves as the primary food for 95% of Indonesia's population. Its rich nutritional content makes it crucial for fulfilling the food needs in Indonesia; however, rice production has been declining. One solution to increase the production of upland rice is to utilize marginal lands for cultivation. Yet, these soils often face fertility constraints, requiring improvement efforts. One such effort is fertilization using nano-technology organic fertilizers. This study aimed to determine the optimal concentration of nano-technology organic fertilizer on N, P, and K nutrient uptake, growth, and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) grown on podsolic soil. The study was conducted in the Greenhouse and Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau, over a period of four months, from February 2025 to June 2025. The experiment was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a non-factorial arrangement. The treatment factor was the concentration of nano-technology organic fertilizer, consisting of five levels: P0 = 0 ml/l water, P1 = 3.25 ml/l water, P2 = 3.75 ml/l water, P3 = 4.25 ml/l water, and P4 = 4.75 ml/l water. The observed parameters included chlorophyll content, N, P, and K nutrient content and uptake, plant height, maximum tiller number, productive tiller number, panicle emergence age, harvest age, percentage of filled grains, 100-grain weight, and dry milled grain weight of upland rice plants. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further tested with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the application of nano-technology organic fertilizer at various concentrations had a significant effect on all observed parameters. The fertilizer also improved nutrient uptake, growth, and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) on podsolic soil. The best results were obtained with the application of nano-technology organic fertilizer at a concentration of 4.25 ml/l water.
