Pengaruh Pupuk Grow Quick Leaf Booster Dengan Interval Pemberian Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Perkembangan Planlet Anggrek (Dendrobium Sp.) Pada Tahap Aklimatisasi
ABSTRACT
Orchid (Dendrobium sp.) is one of the largest orchid genera, boasting over
2,000 species. The beauty of the orchid flower makes this a valuable economic
commodity. One of the challenges in orchid cultivation is the acclimatization
process following in vitro culture. Unsuccessful propagation attempts are often due
to the orchid's lack of adjustment or inability to adapt to the external environment
at the primary hardening stage. This research aimed to determine the optimal dosage
of Grow Quick Leaf Booster fertilizer and it’s application interval on the growth
and development of orchid plantlets during the acclimatization stage. The study was
conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 8
treatments and 3 replications, resulting in 24 experimental units. Each experimental
unit consisted of 2 plantlets, totaling 48 plantlets. Data were analyzed using
ANOVA and further tested with the Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT)
at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the dosage of Grow Quick Leaf
Booster foliar fertilizer and it’s application interval significantly affected the
increase in plant height and the number of leaves during acclimatization. The
application of 2 ml/l foliar fertilizer every 3 days yielded the best response in
enhancing orchid growth and development. The survival rate of (Dendrobium sp.)
orchids during acclimatization ranged from 66,6–100%.
