Analisis Keberlanjutan Pengelolaan Mangrove Di Hutan Desa Teluk Pambang Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis
ABSTRACT
The mangrove ecosystem in Teluk Pambang Village faces increasing
threats from ecological degradation and weak institutional capacity. This study
evaluates the sustainability of mangrove management across ecological,
economic, social, and institutional dimensions using a mixed-methods approach
that combines RAPMECS analysis with interviews, field observations, and
document reviews.Findings show that the ecological dimension is under
significant pressure due to coastal abrasion, shoreline change, and land
conversion. Economic benefits remain limited because livelihood diversity and
market access are still inadequate. Social awareness is moderate, yet community
participation in management activities is inconsistent. The institutional
dimension is the weakest, characterized by poor regulation enforcement, weak
inter-agency coordination, and limited involvement of local groups. Leverage
analysis identifies key sensitive attributes—including rehabilitation efforts,
community income, the role of local management groups, and institutional
synergy—that strongly influence sustainability outcomes. Overall, the Teluk
Pambang mangrove ecosystem is moderately sustainable but requires
strengthened governance, targeted rehabilitation, and improved communitybased
economic initiatives to ensure long-term ecological and social resilience.
