Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine Max L. Merrill) Tanpa Olah Tanah Pada Pemberian Kombinasi Berbagai Dosis Pupuk N, P, K Dengan Frekuensi Pupuk Hayati
ABSTRACT
Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) is an important food commodity in Indonesia due to its high protein content. However, soybean production in Riau remains unstable due to suboptimal cultivation practices. Conventional intensive tillage and excessive inorganic fertilization have not significantly increased yields. No-till farming offers a potential solution to improve production, but compact soil structure in this system can limit root growth. Combining inorganic fertilizers with biofertilizers may enhance nutrient availability and support root development. This study aimed to determine the optimal combination of N, P, K fertilizer doses and biofertilizer application frequency to improve soybean growth and yield under no-till conditions. An experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with five treatments: P1: 100% recommended doses of Urea (15 g/plot), SP-36 (20 g/plot), and KCl (20 g/plot) without biofertilizer; P2: 75% fertilizer doses + 3 biofertilizer applications; P3: 75% fertilizer doses + 4 biofertilizer applications; P4: 50% fertilizer doses + 3 biofertilizer applications; and P5: 50% fertilizer doses + 4 biofertilizer applications. The results showed that four applications of biofertilizer allowed a 25% reduction in N, P, and K fertilizers without compromising plant growth and yield. This indicates that integrating biofertilizers with reduced inorganic fertilizer doses is an effective strategy for enhancing soybean production in no-till systems.
