Title: Tutor Efforts in the Learning Process to Improve Motivation of Package B Students at the SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City Keywords: Tutor Efforts, Learning Motivation The formulation of the problem in this study is how the tutor's efforts in the learning process to increase the learning motivation of Package B learners at SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine the efforts made by tutors in increasing the learning motivation of Package B learners at SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City which is seen through 4 (four) indicators, namely: 1) Efforts to foster a spirit of success, 2) Efforts to encourage self-confidence of learners, 3) Efforts that lead to the ideals of learners, and 4) Efforts to create a conducive learning environment. This research is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. It was conducted at the SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City, involving four informants. The data collection techniques used in this study were documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the data analysis and discussion, the findings of this study are as follows: First, efforts to foster a spirit of success are carried out through setting learning goals, providing rewards and praise, and providing motivational
reinforcement through challenges and competitions. Second, efforts to boost students' self-confidence are carried out by tutors through the implementation of engaging learning, providing appreciation for efforts that have been made, and creating a comfortable learning atmosphere that can increase students' self-confidence and enthusiasm. Third, efforts that lead to ideals are carried out by tutors by asking about the ideals of students, tutors try to link the learning material with a profession, and provide reinforcement so that students feel that learning can influence their future, and SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City also provides life skills programs for students. Fourth, tutors make efforts to create a conducive learning environment by providing adequate facilities and infrastructure in the classroom, giving marks, making learning contracts, and opening good communication between tutors and students.
