Analisis Motivasi Dan Perilaku Wirausaha Terhadap Kinerja Peternak Plasma Ayam Broiler (Studi Kasus: Pola Kemitraan Pada Pt Sabas Indonesia)

ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the motivation and entrepreneurial behavior
influencing the performance of broiler plasma farmers under the core-plasma
partnership pattern at PT Sabas Indonesia. Conducted in Kampar Regency, Riau
Province, this quantitative descriptive research involved 25 broiler plasma farmers
using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires
and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEMPLS).
The research aimed to identify farmer characteristics, analyze farmers'
perception of partner company performance, motivation, entrepreneurial behavior,
and their effects on farmer performance. Findings revealed that entrepreneurial
behaviors such as risk-taking, innovativeness, responsibility, knowledge of
decision outcomes, anticipation of future possibilities, and organizational skills
positively and significantly affect farmers' performance. Additionally, motivation
significantly influenced entrepreneurial behavior, subsequently impacting business
success. This study underscores the importance of internal factors alongside
external support in enhancing farmer productivity and sustainability within
partnership schemes. The findings provide strategic insights for improving broiler
plasma farmers' performance through targeted motivation and entrepreneurial
development programs.
