ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and family
environment on students' entrepreneurial interest, as well as the role of self-efficacy
as a mediating variable in undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and
Business, Riau University, Class of 2021. This study uses a quantitative method with
a population of all undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and
Business, Riau University, Class of 2021, with a proportional random sampling
method. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least
Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results of this study
indicate that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy partially influence
entrepreneurial interest, while family environment does not influence
entrepreneurial interest. However, entrepreneurship education and family
environment have a partial influence on entrepreneurial interest mediated by selfefficacy.
