ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the influence of career planning, adversity quotient, and
social support on the work readiness of undergraduate students of the Faculty of
Economics and Business, University of Riau, Class of 2021. This research employs
a quantitative approach with a population consisting of all 613 students from the
2021 cohort of the Faculty of Economics and Business. The sample was determined
using a proportional stratified random sampling technique, resulting in 242
respondents. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical methods,
data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis,
and the coefficient of determination with a significance level of 0.05. Data
processing was carried out using SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate
that career planning, adversity quotient, and social support have a positive and
significant influence on students’ work readiness, both partially and
simultaneously. Based on the coefficient of determination (R²), these three
independent variables collectively contribute 65.5% to the dependent variable,
while the remaining 34.5% is influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study.
