Pemetaan Indeks Risiko Banjir Dengan Menggunakan Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (Sig) Di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci
ABSTRACT
Pangkalan Kerinci District is an area with a high level of flood risk caused by
intense rainfall, overflow of the Kampar River, and land use changes due to
industrial and residential activities. Based on a survey conducted by PT Tri Karsa
(2022), there were 20 flood points in Pangkalan Kerinci Kota Village and 4 flood
points in Pangkalan Kerinci Barat Village. The preparation of the flood risk index
map was carried out based on three main components, namely the hazard index,
vulnerability index, and capacity index. The hazard index parameters include flood
depth, duration, and frequency; the vulnerability index is based on population
density, building density, gender ratio, and the ratio of residents under 15 years
old; while the capacity index is determined by the conditions of flood pumps, sluice
gates, levees, and drainage systems. All parameters were analyzed using
Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. The mapping results show
variations in the level of flood risk, with 4 RWs categorized as index III, 12 RWs as
index II, and 7 RWs as index I. Based on the hazard index, there were 4 RWs in
category IV, 4 in category III, 9 in category II, and 6 in category I. Based on the
vulnerability index, there was 1 RW in category V, 5 in category IV, 3 in category
III, 9 in category II, and 5 in category I. Meanwhile, based on the capacity index,
there were 1 RW in category II, 4 RWs in category V and 18 RWs in category IV.
