Perencanaan Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (Tpst) Di Kecamatan Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
The increase in population and industrial activity in the Payung Sekaki District of Pekanbaru City has had an impact on the increase in waste entering the Muara Fajar landfill. According to Presidential Regulation No. 97 of 2017, 30% of waste must be managed at the source, and the limited capacity of each subdistrict to reduce waste is one of the main problems that is predicted to continue to increase every year as the population grows. Efforts to address this issue include planning a TPST in Payung Sekaki District, which aims to reduce the amount of waste entering the landfill by 30% of the total waste and to provide a sale value for the waste produced in Payung Sekaki District. Based on projections using geometric methods, the population of Payung Sekaki in 2043 is estimated to be 149,092 people, with a total waste generation of 7,223.65 kg/day or equivalent to 69,986.9 l/day. The composition of waste is dominated by food waste, which accounts for 51.04%. Therefore, the alternative treatment technology chosen for this TPST is composting using the windrow method and fluidized bed (FB) incineration technology. Glass and metal waste will be recycled. This TPST is planned to be able to reduce waste by up to 59%, with the remainder being transported as residue. The land area required is 2,583.06 m2, with a total building area of 1,085.86 m2, and an estimated budget plan of building IDR 5,8 billion
