Pemanfaatan Marketplace “Shopeeˮ Sebagai Media Komunikasi Pemasaran Produk Olahan Ikan Rinuak (Psilopsis Sp.) Oleh Toko Aber Di Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat
The development of digital technology has changed the way products are marketed, especially through marketplaces such as Shopee, which are used by MSMEs to expand their markets. This study aims to analyze the utilization, impact and challenges of using Shopee as a marketing communication medium for dendeng rinuak products by Aber store in Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The method used is qualitative with a case study, involving non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that Aber store utilizes Shopee features such as high-quality product photo uploads, responsive chat, product descriptions, free advertising, appropriate product categories, positive ratings and promotional vouchers to increase market reach and interaction with consumers. The marketplace facilitates the transaction process and increases revenue. However, challenges include suboptimal video feature management, seasonal raw material stocks, negative review management, price and quality competition and adaptation to changes in Shopee's policies.
