Rancang Bangun Pengaturan Intensitas Cahaya Ruangan Kelas Berbasis Internet Of Things
ABSTRACT
The need for optimal lighting in the classroom is very important to support a
comfortable and efficient teaching and learning process. Lighting that is too bright
or dim can affect concentration and cause eye fatigue. The research aims to design
and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based classroom light intensity regulation
system that can adjust lighting automatically based on natural light conditions in
the room. This system uses a BH1750 sensor to measure light intensity (lux), a
NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as a processor and controller, and a relay
module to regulate the number of HPL lights that trun on as needed. Light intensity
data is sent to the Blynk application as a remote monitoring and control interfance
via a mobile device. The system is designed to be able to maintain the light intensity
close to the standard set for classrooms of 350 lux according to SNI 6197-2020.
Tests were carried out in different loghting conditions, namely morning, afternoon,
afternoon or cloudy and night to ensure the lighting system adjusts lighting needs
responsively. Using a prototype with a size of 33cm×23cm using a 3-watt HPL
lamp. The test results show that the system is able to respond to changes in
eviromental light well, able to maintain the intensity of the room according to the
350 lux standard and adjust the number of lights that turn automatically.
