Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Bakso Patin Dengan Metode Winters Multiplicative Dan Economic Order Quantity (Eoq) Di Cv Satu Wahana Jaya Sentosa
ABSTRACT
The catfish meatball known as Sotindang was one of the products of CV Satu
Wahana Jaya Sentosa and was made from catfish surimi as its main ingredient. The
company purchased raw materials based on estimated needs without specific
methods, which caused frequent raw material shortages. This study aimed to
forecast the demand for Sotindang products and determined the optimal inventory
of catfish surimi raw materials using the Winters multiplicative and Economic
Order Quantity (EOQ) methods at CV Satu Wahana Jaya Sentosa. The Winters
multiplicative method was applied to predict the demand for Sotindang products in
2025. The EOQ method was used to determine the economic order quantity,
purchasing frequency, safety stock, reorder point, and total optimal inventory cost.
The data used in this study were the demand quantities for Sotindang during 2023–
2024. The Winters multiplicative method with smoothing parameters α = 0.94, β =
0.00, and γ = 0.10, produced a highly accurate forecast of Sotindang product
demand for 2025 with a MAPE value of 8.51%. The EOQ method resulted in an
economic order quantity of 32 kg, a purchase frequency of five times per year, a
safety stock of 6 kg, and a reorder point of 8 kg. The study concluded that the
combination of the Winters multiplicative and EOQ methods provided an optimal
inventory level with minimum total inventory cost, achieving cost savings of
48.28%. This approach can be effectively applied to raw material inventory
planning to reduce the risk of shortages and improve inventory management
efficiency.
