Aplikasi Abu Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)
ABSTRACT
Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) is an important horticultural commodity
widely consumed in Indonesia, but its productivity in Riau Province remains low.
This study aimed to determine the interaction effect of rice husk ash and NPK
fertilizer, the single factor effects, and the best treatment combination on the growth
and production of shallot plants. The experiment was conducted using a factorial
completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors: rice husk ash (5, 10, 15
t/ha) and NPK fertilizer (0, 150, 250 kg/ha), each replicated three times. The
observed parameters were plant height, number of leaves, harvest age, number of
bulbs per clump, bulb diameter, fresh bulb weight, storage-worthy bulb weight, and
yield per plot. The results showed that the interaction between rice husk ash and
NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on any of the measured parameters.
Application of rice husk ash and NPK fertilizer individually had significant effects
on growth and production. The best treatment combination was 15 t/ha rice husk
ash with 250 kg/ha NPK fertilizer.
