Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Medium Podsolik Dengan Pemberian Fly Ash Dan Poc Bonggol Pisang
ABSTRACT
The 1.54% decline in national rice production in 2024 compared to the previous year indicates the need to increase production through extensification, such as utilizing acid dry land (Podzolic soils), and intensification, including the use of adaptive varieties (upland rice Inpago 12) as well as soil amendments such as fly ash and banana pseudostem liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). This study aimed to determine the interaction effects and main effects of fly ash and banana pseudostem LOF on the growth and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.). The research was conducted in the Greenhouse and Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau, Bina Widya Campus. The experiment employed a and 400 ml per 10 kg soil). Each treatment combination was replicated five times. The results showed that the interaction between fly ash and banana pseudostem LOF, as well as the main effect of LOF, significantly affected the weight of milled dry grain per polybag. The main effect of fly ash significantly influenced flowering age, plant height, harvest age, panicle length, number of filled grains, percentage of filled grains, and the weight of milled dry grain per polybag.
