Analisis Usaha Dan Strategi Pengembangan (Studi Kasus Penggilingan Padi Irlangga Di Desa Bunga Raya Kecamatan Bunga Raya Kabupaten Siak)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to identify the characteristics of Irlangga Rice Milling business, analyze the business based on aspects of production, technology, marketing, institutional structure, and income, and formulate appropriate development strategies. The research method used is a case study with the collection of primary and secondary data. Business analysis includes the calculation of production costs, revenue, net income, and business efficiency using the R/C Ratio. SWOT analysis and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the help of Expert Choice are used to determine the priority of business development strategies.
The research results show that in June 2025, milling activities were carried out 8 times, with a raw material requirement of 50,000 kg of wet unhusked rice, producing 41,500 kg of dry unhusked rice and yielding 30.710 kg of rice. The total revenue obtained was IDR 441.894.000, while the total production cost reached IDR 392.564.145, resulting in a net income of IDR 49.329.855. The business efficiency value (R/C Ratio) of 1.13 indicates that the business is feasible and efficient to operate. SWOT and AHP analyses produced three priority strategies, namely: (1) gradually updating machines and procuring rice drying equipment (0.224), (2) utilizing social media and digital technology for promotion and improving the administrative system (0.212), and (3) establishing partnerships with community-owned enterprises (BUMKam) and participating in government training programs to maintain the supply of raw materials and strengthen capital (0.194).
