Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.) Pada Medium Ultisol Yang Diaplikasi Dengan Kompos Solid Dan Fly Ash Batubara
ABSTRACT
Mung beans (vigna radiate L.) is one of a group of legume plants that have a high protein content. This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of solid compost and coal fly ash. The research was carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory and experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from April 2024 to February 2025. The study used a complete randomized design (CRD) in the form of factorial design, factor 1 is a solid compost consisting of 3 levels (5 and 10 t/ha or 2,5 and 5 g/kg of medium) and factor II coal fly ash consists of 3 levels (5 and 10 t/ha or 2,5 and 5 g/kg of medium). The results showed that the interaction of solid compost and coal fly ash increased the wet weight of seeds, dry weight of seeds and the number of pods per plant. The application of solid compost improved all growth parameters and yield of green beans, while the application of coal fly ash increased plant height, harvest age, wet weight of seeds, dry weight of seeds, pod weight and number of pods per plant. The best doses were obtained on solid compost 5 t/ha and coal fly ash 5 t/ha which were able to increase vegetative and generative growth and green bean yields significantly on ultisol soil
