Pengaruh Pemberian Solid Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Dan Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus L.)
ABSTRACT
The low production of okra in Riau is caused by low soil fertility, especially
inceptisol soil. This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of palm oil
mill solids and NPK fertilizer, a single factor of palm oil mill solids and NPK
fertilizer, and to obtain the best combination of palm oil mill solids and NPK
fertilizer. This study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized
design (CRD). There are two factors, the first factor is palm oil mill solids with 4
treatments (0, 30 t/ha, 45 t/ha, and 60 t/ha) The second factor is NPK fertilizer with
3 treatments (300 kg/ha, 400 kg/ha, and 600) kg/ha). The parameters observed
include plant height, first flowering age, first harvest age, number of fruits per plant,
fruit length, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fruits per plant, fruit
weight per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter. The results of the study showed that
the interaction of palm oil mill solids and NPK fertilizer had no significant effect
on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fruits per plant, fruit
weight per plant, fruit length and fruit diameter. The results showed that the
application of a palm oil mill solid dose of 60 t/ha increased plant height, number
of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and fruit diameter. The results
also showed that the application of NPK fertilizer of 600 kg/ha was the best
treatment that supported maximum plant growth and yield.
