Rancang Bangun Sistem Pompa Air Tenaga Surya Untuk Sirkulasi Air Kolam Budidaya Perikanan
ABSTRACT
The design and construction of a solar-powered water pump system for pool water
circulation was carried out to provide an efficient and sustainable alternative energy
solution. This system utilizes solar modules as the primary energy source, converted
by an inverter to produce AC voltage suitable for the pump's needs. An MPPT
controller (MPPT) is used to optimize power absorption from the solar panels,
ensuring stable pump operation despite fluctuating sunlight intensity. The design
phase included calculating pump power requirements, determining solar panel
capacity, designing a battery energy storage system, configuring the inverter, and
creating a protection circuit. Tests were conducted under no-load and loaded
conditions to measure voltage and current performance. The test results
demonstrated that the system is capable of providing sufficient power for the pump to
continuously circulate water.
