Rancang Bangun Kontrol Start-Stop Motor Induksi 3 Fasa Jarak Jauh Menggunakan Iot
ABSTRACT
Three-phase induction motors are widely used in industry due to their high reliability
and efficiency; however, conventional control systems have limitations in terms of remote
operation and monitoring. This research designs and implements a start–stop control and
current monitoring system for a three-phase induction motor based on the Internet of
Things (IoT) using an ESP32 microcontroller, relay module, and the Blynk application.
The Direct On Line (DOL) starting method is applied, with a contactor used as the main
power switch. The relay functions as a start–stop controller as well as an additional
protection mechanism by disconnecting the control circuit when overcurrent conditions
are detected. The system is also equipped with a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) and a
Thermal Overload Relay (TOR). Motor current is monitored using ACS712 sensors on
each phase and displayed in real time via Blynk. Experimental results show stable
operation, fast response, high measurement accuracy with an average error of 0.15%,
and automatic motor shutdown when the current exceeds 0.8 A, indicating that the system
is effective, safe, and efficient.
