This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Box Alphabet media in improving letter recognition skills among children aged 4–5 years. The research problem was identified through preliminary observations, which showed that children experienced difficulties in naming, identifying, pronouncing, arranging, and recognizing letter symbols with picture. A quantitative approach was used, employing a one-group pretest posttest experimental design. The participants consisted of 20 children at RA Raudhoh Hasanah. Data were analyzed using paired-samples t-tests and N-gain scores. Results indicated that children’s letter recognition, prior to the intervention abilities were at the "emerging" level.
