The interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5–6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 01 Salo, Kampar Regency, is still relatively low, thus innovation in learning media is needed to support children’s social development. One of the efforts made by the researcher was to develop a learning medium in the form of the Story Play Kids e-book, which was designed to enhance children’s ability to interact with peers and teachers. This study aimed to determine the effect of using the e-book on improving the interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5–6 years. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The study population consisted of 98 children, while the research sample comprised 15 children selected using the one-stage cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through observation sheets and analyzed using a t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in interpersonal intelligence after the use of the e-book, with a tcount value of 27.033, which was higher than the ttable value of 2.145. In addition, the N-gain test indicated an improvement of 58.26%, which falls into the moderate category. These findings demonstrate that the Story Play Kids e-book is effective in early childhood learning to enhance interpersonal intelligence and can serve as an alternative medium that benefits teachers in teaching children aged 5–6 years.
