analisis pelaksanaan etnoparenting suku akit pada era digital di kelurahan teluk belitung kecamatan merbau kabupaten kepulauan meranti
Early childhood is in a golden period of development that requires optimal stimulation, one of which is through cultural value-based care. Ethnoparenting is an approach that integrates local cultural values in parenting, as practiced by the Akit people, tostrengthen children's identity and character from an early age. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Suku Akit ethnoparenting in the digital era, when cultural values begin to compete with the influence of media and technology. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation and interview techniques. The research was conducted holistically by looking at individuals and communities as a social unit. The research location was in Teluk Belitung Village, Meranti Islands Regency. The results showed that the Akit people still maintain traditional parenting values such as divinity, nature conservation, identity, and mutual cooperation. These values are instilled through a combination of old ways and the use of technology, such as educational videos.Despite being faced with digitalization, the Akit community is able to adapt selectively by combining modern and traditional approaches in parenting, so that cultural values remain relevant and acceptable to the younger generation.
