Pengaruh Inflasi, Nilai Tukar Dan Gdp Malaysia Terhadap Ekspor Komoditas Lemak Dan Minyak Hewani/Nabati Provinsi Riau Ke Malaysia
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the effect of inflation, exchange rate, and
Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the export of animal and vegetable
fats and oils commodities from Riau Province to Malaysia 2010-2024 period on a
quarterly basis. The data used in this study are secondary time-series data, and the
analytical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis using the
Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method with EViews 12 software as a statistical
analysis tool.
The independent variables in this study consist of the inflation rate of Riau
Province, the exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar, and
Malaysia’s GDP, while the dependent variable is the export value of animal and
vegetable fats and oils commodities from Riau Province to Malaysia. The partial
analysis results show that inflation has a positive but insignificant effect on the
export of animal and vegetable fats and oils commodities from Riau Province to
Malaysia. The exchange rate of the Rupiah against the US Dollar has a negative
and significant effect, while Malaysia’s GDP has a positive and significant effect
on the export value. Simultaneously, the results indicate that all independent
variables jointly have a significant effect on the export of animal and vegetable fats
and oils commodities from Riau Province to Malaysia.
