This research aims to develop a learning medium called History Uno Cards for the material on colonialism and Indonesian resistance, with the goal of increasing the learning motivation of 11th-grade students at SMAIT Al Fityah Pekanbaru. The background of the problem is the low motivation to study history due to conventional teaching methods that are monotonous and still text-book-centered. To address this issue, an interactive History Uno Card medium was developed, allowing students to learn while playing in an engaging manner. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evalution). Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The learning medium was validated by media experts and history experts before being tested on students in small and large groups. The results indicate that the History Uno Cards are effective in boosting students’ motivation and participation in history learning. Students demonstrated better enthusiasm and comprehension compared to traditional methods. Conclusion is History Uno Cards serve as a successful innovation to make history learning more profound and engaging.
