Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Cair (Poc) F1mbio Untuk Meningkatkan Kandungan Nitrogen Fosfor Kalium Dan Pertumbuhan Semai Pulai Rawa (Alstonia Pneumatophora) Pada Media Gambut
ABSTRACT
Peatlands are characterized by low fertility and high acidity, which limits the
optimal growth of plants, including the fast-growing species Alstonia
pneumatophora. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying Liquid
Organic Fertilizer (POC) F1Mbio on increasing the Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P),
and Potassium (K) content in peat, and to evaluate its subsequent impact on the
growth parameters of Alstonia pneumatophora seedlings. The research utilized a
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four concentration levels of F1Mbio
POC: P0 (0 mL/polybag as control), P1 (125 mL/polybag), P2 (250 mL/polybag),
and P3 (375 mL/polybag), each replicated five times. Observations were made on
soil chemical properties (pH, N-total, P-available, K-total) and seedling growth
variables (height, stem diameter, and plant dry weight). The results demonstrated
that the application of F1Mbio POC significantly influenced the enhancement of N,
P, and K nutrient content in the peat. The best treatment was obtained at the highest
concentration, P3 (375 ml/polybag), which increased the peat's pH to 3.56, N-total
to a very high 1.19%, P-available to a high 50.07 ppm, and K-total to 36.73 mg/100g
soil. Furthermore, the application of POC F1Mbio had a positive effect on
accelerating the growth of Alstonia pneumatophora seedlings. The P3 treatment
also yielded the best overall growth, achieving an average plant height of 51.16 cm,
a stem diameter of 4.36 mm, and a plant dry weight of 3.00 g. The use of F1Mbio
POC is an effective strategy for improving peat media fertility and promoting the
optimal growth of Alstonia pneumatophora seedlings, with the 375 ml/polybag
dose being the most recommended. These findings imply that the use of F1Mbio
POC can serve as a practical and environmentally sustainable strategy for
improving peat soil fertility and supporting large-scale seedling production
programs in peatland restoration efforts.
