This study aims to determine the effect of using Liveworksheets based e-LKPD on student motivation and learning outcomes on the human excretory system material at SMAN 1 Inuman. The background of this study is based on the low involvement and motivation of students in biology learning, especially on abstract materials such as the excretory system. Liveworksheets based interactive learning media is expected to be an attractive alternative to increase student participation and understanding. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using Liveworksheets based e-LKPD and the control class using conventional LKPD, each totaling 26 students. Data collection was carried out through a learning motivation questionnaire and a cognitive learning outcome test. Data were analyzed using a t-test and N-Gain calculation to see the effect of Liveworksheets based e-LKPD on motivation and learning outcomes.
The results of the study showed that the use of Liveworksheets based e-LKPD significantly influenced student motivation and learning outcomes. The average learning motivation questionnaire score for the experimental class was 77.2 (high category), while the control class was 67.6 (high category), with the t-test results showing a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. The increase in motivation and learning outcomes was influenced by the characteristics of the Liveworksheets media which were interactive, visually appealing, and provided automatic feedback. This media helped students understand the abstract concept of the excretory system through activities such as matching excretory organs, sequencing the process of urine formation, and watching videos about excretory disorders and technology. Thus, it can be concluded that Liveworksheets based e-LKPD is effective in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in the Excretory System material.
