Perancangan Potensiostat Untuk Pengukuran Elektrokimiaberbasis Arduino Uno
The need for electrochemical measurement in laboratories is significant, yet access to commercial potentiostats is often limited due to their high cost. This research aims to develop a portable potentiostat that enables simple electrochemical measurements without relying on commercial instruments. The designed device facilitates modern electrochemical testing by analyzing solution characteristics through current responses generated by applied electrical potential. The portable potentiostat was built using an Arduino UNO microcontroller board based on the ATMega328p chip. The circuit incorporates a TL074 operational amplifier for voltage signal regulation and utilizes external DAC and ADC modules, as the Arduino UNO lacks built-in DAC and ADC capabilities. Data acquisition is performed in real time using Polarographica software and is compared against reference data from a Gamry Ref.620 potentiostat to evaluate performance. Calibration was conducted using a 1 kΩ resistor. The resulting voltage-current relationship shows a strong linearity, with a regression coefficient of R² = 0,9999. This indicates a highly linear response. The potentiostat successfully produced cyclic voltammetry graphs and clear redox peaks, making it suitable for basic electrochemical applications such as cyclic voltammetry using K₄[Fe(CN)₆]·3H₂O (potassium ferocyanide), phosphate buffered saline (PBS), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), and superkapasitor.
