pengaruh model project based learning (pJbl) berbantuan lembar kerja peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas xi man 1 pekanbaru
21st century learning requires students to master higher order thinking skills, one of which is creative thinking. The current curriculum is designed to develop students' potential through active, creative, and student-centered learning, with teachers acting as facilitators. However, based on observations during the introduction to the school environment and interviews with 11th grade biology teachers at MAN 1 Pekanbaru, it was found that the learning process tends to be teacher-centered with a dominance of verbal explanations and relatively low student involvement, resulting in low creative thinking skills among students. Innovative learning models that encourage active and contextual student involvement in the learning process are needed to overcome this problem. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on the creative thinking skills of grade XI students at MAN 1 Pekanbaru in the subject of the reproductive system.
This study used a quantitative method with a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample was determined using a homogeneity test technique, which resulted in two classes as samples, namely XI.2 Health 1 as the control class and XI.3 Health 2 as the experimental class, each consisting of 33 students. The experimental class was given treatment in the form of learning using the PjBL model assisted by LKPD, while the control class used the Discovery Learning model. The parameters of this study were creative thinking skills, which consisted of four indicators: fluent thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, and detailed thinking. Data were collected through pretest, posttest, and observation sheets compiled based on these indicators. Data analysis techniques used SPSS version 26, including normality, homogeneity, and t-tests to test the hypothesis.
The results showed a significant increase in creative thinking skills in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average posttest score of the experimental class reached the “creative” category with a score of 78.3%, while

the control class only reached a score of 69.19%, which is classified as “moderately creative.” Similarly, the observation results showed that the creative thinking ability of the experimental class was in the creative category (75.61%), while the control class was in the moderately creative category (60.76%).
The application of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Student Worksheets proved to have a significant effect on improving the creative thinking skills of students in class XI MAN 1 Pekanbaru for the subject of the reproductive system. It is recommended that future researchers who wish to study the application of the Project Based Learning model consider the research time so that the time used by researchers can be carried out efficiently.
