This study was conducted to address the low level of student engagement in history learning, particularly in the topic of Colonialism and Indonesian Resistance, which is still predominantly delivered through conventional textbooks. The study aimed to develop a digital history magazine as a learning medium, describe the development process, and examine its feasibility for Grade XI students at a vocational high school. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The validation results indicated that the digital history magazine was highly feasible, with material experts awarding a score of 92% and media experts 90%. Student trials also demonstrated positive responses, with feasibility scores of 75% in small-group trials and 82% in large-group trials. The findings suggest that the developed digital history magazine effectively enhances students’ interest and engagement in history learning. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of interactive visual elements and contextual historical content tailored to vocational high school students within the Independent Curriculum framework.
