Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Lok-R Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah Kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru

The low cognitive learning outcomes of students in history learning are caused by a lack of active participation or students tending to be passive and the use of learning models that are not optimally applied in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the LOK-R learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes in history learning for class X at SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The study used a quasi-experimental method withdesain Pre-test–Posttest Control Group.The instrument used was a learning outcome test in the experimental and control classes. The results of the study showed that the LOK-R learning model can be applied well in history learning and has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. This is proven through a t-test with a Sig. (2-tailed) value = 0.00 < 0.05. In addition, the N-Gain value of the experimental class was 0.7024 (70%) which is in the high category so that the LOK-R model is proven to be effective in improving independent learning outcomes and is suitable for implementation in schools.
