Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make A Match Terhadap Hasil Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students in history lessons. This problem stems from a lack of student engagement in the learning process at school. This study aimed to determine the influence of the make-a-match cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in history. This quantitative study employed a nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted at Pekanbaru State Senior High School 5 using a purposive sampling technique, with grades XI-6 as the experimental class and XI-
12 as the control class. The results showed that before the make-a-match cooperative learning model, the average student learning outcome was 75.4, and after the treatment, the average student learning outcome was 88.7. The t-test result was 0.002
