Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad Dengan Media Pembelajaran Quizwhizzer Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Babussalam

The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students due to the use of conventional learning models, which tend to be monotonous and one-way. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the STAD cooperative learning model with Quizwhizzer as the medium on student history learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Babussalam. The research method used was a quasiexperimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of two classes: class XI F2, the experimental group implementing the STAD cooperative learning model with Quizwhizzer as the medium, with 36 students, and class XI F4, the control group using the conventional model, with 36 students. Data collection instruments included a pretest and a posttest. Data analysis techniques used included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, hypothesis testing (t-test), and the N-Gain test. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. This is evidenced by the experimental class's average posttest score of 86.50, while the control class only achieved 73.00. Based on the hypothesis test using a t-test, a 2-tailed significance value of 0.000 was obtained, indicating a significant effect of the treatment. Furthermore, the N-Gain test yielded a score of 0.62, which falls into the moderate category, indicating the model's effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. This indicates that the STAD cooperative learning model with Quizwhizzer positively improves student learning outcomes in history.
