Pengaruh Asesmen Sumatif Berbasis Exambro Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah Di SMAN 1 Pekanbaru

This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of implementing Exambro-based summative assessment on students’ learning motivation in History subject at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The problem addressed in this research is based on the fact that digital-based summative assessment through Exambro has been implemented in the school; however, it is still unknown whether its use has a relationship with students’ learning motivation, particularly in History learning. The research employed a quantitative correlational method with a population consisting of all eleventh-grade students totaling 471 students. The sample was selected using a random sampling technique, and the data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 82 respondents. The results of the Pearson correlation test indicated a positive and significant relationship between the use of Exambro and students’ learning motivation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.558, which falls into the moderate category. Furthermore, the simple linear regression analysis revealed that the implementation of Exambro-based summative assessment influences students’ learning motivation in History learning at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, with a contribution of 31.1%. These findings suggest that the use of digital media in evaluation not only improves exam efficiency and security, but also encourages student engagement and learning motivation through transparent assessment and fast feedback
