Perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Sawah Dangka 2007-2022

This study aims to determine the history of the establishment of the Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Sawah Dangka Tahfizhul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School, to examine the role of leadership in its development process from 2007 to 2022, and to identify the factors influencing this development. This study is based on the theoretical framework of Islamic education history, the concept of Islamic boarding schools, and theories of institutional roles and educational development. The method used is historical research, which includes the stages of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation using relevant primary and secondary sources. The results show that the Islamic boarding school was established in 2007 and developed gradually through each leadership period, as indicated by an increase in the number of students, the development of facilities, and the strengthening of the Tahfizhul Qur’an education system. The leadership plays a significant role in determining institutional policies and management. The development of the Islamic boarding school is influenced by both internal and external factors, including support from Muhammadiyah and the local community.
